LAHORE: In Lahore, the Punjab Safe Cities Authority has made a huge move by providing free emergency mobile phone charging service under the guidance of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz.
At one site in Lahore, the public will enjoy four amenities: a panic button, CM free Wi-Fi, emergency free mobile phone charging, and other safety services.
In order to provide a greater degree of safety to the citizens, the safety zones will be made more effective, and the emergency free mobile phone charging facility will be introduced.
A representative for Safe City mentioned that an emergency free mobile phone charging service will be available at 100 locations. Currently, there are 30 emergency free mobile phone charging ports set up in Lahore, and people have started availing themselves of the facility.
