Punjab police releases Rs3.96m for officials’ medical need

LAHORE: The Punjab Police has disbursed an additional Rs3.96 million to support the medical treatment of police officials and their families suffering from serious illnesses.

According to the details, Constable M Atif and Driver Constable Fayyaz Ullah were each granted Rs500,000 for major surgeries.

Other beneficiaries include Constable Zafarullah, who received Rs250,000 for his wife’s treatment, while Constable Adnan Malik was given Rs250,000 for his daughter’s care.

Additionally, the martyred Inspector Rafiq and ASI Sadiq Haider’s wives were granted Rs200,000 each for medical expenses.

Collective amounts ranging from Rs100,000 to Rs300,000 were allocated to other police employees, retired personnel, and families of deceased officials for their medical needs.
