Pakistan Tehreek Insaf condemned the knife attack on the party’s Central Information Secretary. “PTI will never give up its struggle for fear of these cowardly attacks,” part said in a statement on X.
In a separate statement, the former ruling party said the act is extremely shameful and deplorable, adding that if the spokesperson of the “largest party” can be attacked in the federal capital in broad daylight, then “what can we make of the safety of others”.
Imran Khan’s PTI staged a walkout from an ongoing Senate session in protest; however, they returned after a brief period, with the leaders severely condemning the attack on the party’s top leader.
