ISLAMABAD: Pakistan gears up to send thousands for World Cup 2034 construction. A strategy aimed at sending approximately 300,000 to 400,000 skilled workers for infrastructure projects in Saudi Arabia related to the FIFA World Cup 2034 is on the cards, aiming to open up new opportunities abroad for the country’s laborers, according to planning documents.
The plan by Pakistan’s labor workforce strategy document includes deploying individuals to build projects related to the 2034 Saudi Arabian World Cup as part of its ambitious Vision 2030 agenda, starting in 2026 until the event is hosted, said officials with knowledge of the planning process.
Pakistani nationals are most likely to benefit in a variety of fields, including construction, aviation, tourism, infrastructure, travel, and, well, anything relating to the accommodation services industry.
