Saudi investment minister lands in Pakistan; $2 billion MoUs expected

ISLAMABAD: Saudi Arabia’s Minister for Investment, Engr.  Khalid Bin Abdulaziz Al-Falih along with delegation arrived in Islamabad, here on Wednesday.

As per the details, the Saudi delegation visit to Pakistan expected to result in the signing of investment agreements worth $2 billion between Pakistan and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will host a formal dinner in honor of the Saudi delegation. This visit is part of broader efforts to strengthen economic ties between the two countries.

The Saudi Minister is expected to sign multiple memorandums of understanding (MoUs) with his Pakistani counterparts, paving the way for enhanced cooperation.

The visit will also feature business-to-business (B2B) meetings and various sessions with representatives from different ministries.

The Saudi delegation will include representatives from key industries, including construction, engineering, financial services, IT, hospitality, agriculture, food energy, and petroleum.

The diverse nature of the delegation underscores Saudi Arabia’s commitment to exploring investment opportunities across a wide range of sectors.

According to the schedule, the Saudi delegation will hold business-to-business meetings with Pakistani companies, and several agreements will be signed during the visit.
