KARACHI: Senior Provincial Minister Sharjeel Memon gave great news to the citizens of Karachi.
According to private media, a meeting was held under the chairmanship of Sharjeel Memon on public transport projects, in which a detailed review of the provision of land for bus depots and the transport plan was taken.
He said that double-decker and 500 electric buses are being added to the transport system, new buses will soon be brought on the roads for public service.
Sharjeel Memon said that the process of identifying suitable land for Karachi depots should be completed immediately, and the deputy commissioners should identify government land for bus depots in their districts.
The senior provincial minister said that they are committed to providing modern, comfortable and environment-friendly public transport, and the availability of appropriate infrastructure is essential for the success of the projects.
He said that the timely availability of operational infrastructure is essential for the success of the projects, and the relevant institutions should complete the identification of land and other arrangements with mutual cooperation.
Sharjeel Memon said that the project will bring revolutionary changes to the province’s transport system.
