According to the details, the Sindh government has formally declared public holidays on June 25 and 26 across the province on the occasion of the Day of Ashura (9th and 10th Muharram Al-Haram).

A formal notification has also been issued in this regard on the instructions of the Chief Secretary of Sindh.

The notification issued states that this public holiday will apply to all government offices, autonomous bodies, local councils, and corporations working under the provincial government; however, institutions providing essential services, hospitals, and offices of security forces will remain open as usual.
