TANK: Two police personnel, including an ASI, were martyred and two others were injured in an explosion near a police armoured vehicle in Tank.
According to DPO Tank Abdul Samad Khan, the police armoured vehicle was on routine patrol on the South Waziristan Road when it was hit by an explosion at Warna.
ASI Faridullah and Sepoy Akhtar Zaman were martyred on the spot in the explosion, while Sepoy Abdul Malik and Sepoy Qudratullah were injured.
The bodies of the martyrs and the injured personnel have been immediately shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital Tank.
According to the DPO, the incident is being investigated, and a search operation is underway by cordoning off the area.

Earlier, A remote-controlled bomb exploded near an armored vehicle of the Gomal Bazar police station in Tank.
According to the police, the explosion destroyed the armored vehicle and killed 5 police personnel.
Police say that the Additional SHO of Gomal Police Station, Ishaq Khan, is also among the dead.
The explosion on the armored vehicle took place on Gomal Bazar Road. The armored vehicle was coming from Gomal Police Station to Tank.
