The Nora Fatehi song fatwa has created strong reactions after a controversial Bollywood track was declared un-Islamic and later banned.

The song “Sarke Chunar Teri Sarke,” featuring Nora Fatehi and Sanjay Dutt, was released online as part of the film KD: The Devil. Soon after its release, the song faced criticism for its content and visuals.

Earlier, Nora Fatehi clarified that a vulgar version of the song was released without her permission. She distanced herself from the controversial edit and raised concerns about misuse.

The Nora Fatehi song fatwa was later issued by a senior Islamic scholar linked with a Darul Ifta in Uttar Pradesh. The scholar called the song’s content inappropriate and said it goes against Islamic teachings. He also described the visuals as obscene and urged authorities to take action.

Following the growing backlash, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting confirmed that the song has been banned. The decision came after public complaints and rising criticism.
