Jahandad Khan penalised for violating PSL code of conduct

KARACHI: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has fined fast bowling all-rounder of the Quetta Gladiators, Jahandad Khan, for a Level One offense committed under the Pakistan Super League’s code of conduct rules on Saturday.

This happened after Jahandad was charged with committing the offense in his team’s match against Rawalpindiz held last Friday at the National Bank Stadium, Karachi.

According to the report, Jahandad was found guilty of committing an offense related to Article 2.5 under the code of conduct rule of HBL PSL. The rule states that using any type of language that could provoke an aggressive response from the batter is prohibited.

On field umpires Sharafuddoula and Imran Jawed accused Jahandad, and he admitted to the charge filed against him by the Match Referee Roshan Mahanama.

The offense committed was on the second ball of 18th over of the chase where Saad Masood was dismissed.
