TASHKENT: Pakistan’s Nooh Dastgir Butt has made history by setting a new record at the Asian Powerlifting Championships in Tashkent.
Competing in the 120+ kg category, Nooh lifted an impressive 400 kg in the squat event, setting a new Asian record.
His impressive performance earned him his first gold medal at the championship.
With the remaining medals in the bench press, deadlift, and overall events yet to be decided, Nooh is in the running for more accolades.
