CARACAS: The ISPR said the Pakistan Armed Forces made the nation proud in the 4th CISM (Council of International Military Sports) World Military Cadet Games, held in Venezuela from August 16 to 22.
Competing in track, field, and shooting events, the Pakistan contingent won five prestigious medals, demonstrating their exceptional skill and determination.
Pakistan Air Force Chief Warrant Officer Moeed Baloch won a gold medal in the 400m race and a silver medal in the 200m race.
Pakistan Army Commander Muhammad Akhtar won a bronze medal in the 5000m race and a silver medal in the 10,000m race.
In the shooting competitions, the team led by NK Qasim Bilal, Sepoy Ismail Khan, and Sepoy Muhammad Rashid of the Pakistan Army won a silver medal in the 25-meter pistol shooting rapid team category.
The outstanding performance of the armed forces of Pakistan has been well appreciated. The Chairman, Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, along with all Service Chiefs, congratulated the team for their outstanding achievements at the international level.
