LONDON: The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has announced that the ongoing white-ball series between Pakistan Shaheens and England Lions, being held in Abu Dhabi, has been called off.
This decision was mutually agreed upon between the two Boards, keeping in mind the ongoing security situation in the Middle East region.
In the wake of the deteriorating situation in Abu Dhabi and the Middle East region, it has been decided that no further matches will be held in the ongoing series between the two teams, comprising three T20 and five 50-over matches.
The safety, security, and well-being of the players and support staff are the top priority for the PCB. The PCB is in constant touch with the team management and players to ensure that the best possible arrangements are made to bring the team back to Pakistan.
