ISLAMABAD: Pakistani mountaineer Salman Atique has successfully summited Mount Everest, becoming the 14th Pakistani to reach the top of the world’s highest mountain.
According to reports, Salman Atique reached the summit at 11:49 am, marking a significant achievement in Pakistan’s mountaineering history.
A resident of Islamabad, Salman previously climbed Mount Manaslu last year and has now added Everest to his list of major high-altitude accomplishments.
Standing at 8,848.86 metres above sea level, Mount Everest remains the highest peak in the world and continues to attract climbers from across the globe. (tourismdepartment.gov.np)
