ISLAMABAD: The Meteorological Department has issued a fresh forecast regarding the weather and rainfall across the country, predicting rain, drizzle and partly cloudy weather in different areas.
Some areas are likely to experience thundershowers while other places are likely to experience hot and humid weather.
Early morning rain in Lahore made the weather pleasant. Light rain was recorded in some areas and heavy rain in others, after which the intensity of the heat decreased due to cool winds.
According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of more rain in Lahore during the next 24 hours. The minimum temperature of the city is expected to be 29 degrees Celsius while the maximum is expected to be 37 degrees Celsius. The humidity ratio in the air has been recorded up to 74 percent, while the interplay between the sun and clouds is likely to continue.
On the other hand, the weather in Karachi is cloudy and humid. According to the Meteorological Department, light rain or drizzle is expected in some areas of the city. Intermittent strong winds are also expected, which is expected to make the weather relatively better.
The current temperature in Karachi is recorded at 30 degrees Celsius, while the maximum temperature can go up to 35 degrees. Winds are blowing from the southwest at a speed of 18 kilometers per hour in the city and the humidity ratio is recorded at 75 percent.
The weather in Islamabad is predicted to be hot and humid today, however, the weather may remain partly cloudy in the morning and evening hours, the temperature is likely to reach 38 degrees Celsius, while the humidity ratio in the air has been recorded at more than 43 percent.
According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of thundershowers in various areas of Kashmir, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit-Baltistan, while rain is expected at some places in Gilgit-Baltistan with partly cloudy weather.
