NEW YORK: Instagram is testing a new and useful feature for users with a clickable links in post captions with a limited number of users ,according to a report.

Instagram is an app from Meta in which it is currently not possible to post a clickable link to an external website on a post.

The report said that this feature had been requested by users for a long time so that they could increase the traffic of their websites from Instagram.

According to the report, during this test, a user can currently add 10 links to their posts in a month. Meta has also confirmed that the company is testing caption links.

A Meta spokesperson said that this test is being conducted among Meta Verified subscribers. However, it was not clear when the feature would be rolled out and whether it would be available to all users or only to verified users.

It should be noted that since Instagram was introduced, the photo-sharing app has not allowed adding clickable links to captions.
