Internet services disrupted across Pakistan

Internet services disrupted across Pakistan again

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan is facing severe internet disruption across major cities including Islamabad, Karachi and Lahore.  According to sources, social media use and online work are being severely disrupted by the poor internet access.

The article claims that users are unhappy by the restricted access on well-known networks like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and WhatsApp, which have either been suspended or are running at slower speeds.

According to reports, the slowness started on Saturday night and is still affecting internet services like Google and PTCL, interfering with both personal and professional responsibilities.

The nation continues to struggle with internet reliability, which exacerbates public annoyance as the causes of the disruptions are yet unknown.

After the government allegedly established a firewall to monitor anti-state activity on social media platforms, people in Pakistan are experiencing poor internet speeds.
