ISLAMABAD: In accordance with Nayatel’s official X account, internet services all over Pakistan are still disrupted after over 48 hours of users reporting slow speeds initially.
The ISP has verified that upload speeds are still slow throughout the country for the customers. The trouble is a result of PTCL’s fiber backbone, which is the main source of connection for several internet providers in Pakistan.
Therefore, the customers of PTCL, Nayatel, Zong, Ufone, and other leading ISPs are all impacted. ProPakistani has conducted tests that indicate there are noticeable decreases in both upload and download speeds.
There is still no official timeline for the complete restoration of services. Users look forward to getting information from the main ISPs, such as PTCL and Nayatel, about the normal internet connectivity resumption.
The disruption that is going on is harming businesses, online education, and daily digital communication, thereby demonstrating the country’s dependency on reliable internet infrastructure.
