Internet services still disrupted across Pakistan

PTA launches 5G spectrum auction plan in Pakistan

KARACHI: Internet users continue to have serious connectivity problems in many locations throughout the nation, particularly in Karachi, which makes it impossible to browse, download, and share media.

Users are finding it practically impossible to send or receive media items, including pictures, videos, and voice notes, on well-known platforms like WhatsApp due to significant slowdowns in both WiFi and mobile data services, according to reports.

Notable hard hit areas of the port city include Saddar, Liaquatabad, FB Area, and Gulistan-e-Jauhar, where users lamented extended delays in transmitting audio, video and image files.

However, no specific reason has come to light for today’s slowed internet speed.

WhatsApp outages peaked at roughly 9am today (Monday), marking the second day of these internet problems, according to Downdetector.com.
