With an initial focus on advising women and children on legal matters, the Punjab Government has chosen to launch a new chatbot mobile application created by the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) to assist individuals in their legal affairs.

The recently approved smartphone chatbot application seeks to offer consumers simple, one-click legal guidance from the comfort of their own homes.

The application’s steady scope development to eventually encompass a wider variety of legal matters has received approval from the government. The software will help women in particular since it will provide them with quick fixes for legal issues that are unique to their requirements.

The chatbot is designed to offer prompt responses to any legal query, guaranteeing that users can obtain trustworthy advice on a range of legal matters.

In addition, queries from the public regarding chatbots about legal matters will be addressed. The app will make it easier to respond to particular circumstances, increasing everyone’s access to legal advice.

The Law Department has supplied an extensive list of common legal queries and responses, which will be entered into the system to improve the efficacy of the chatbot.

One of the app’s primary benefits is its capacity to provide prompt legal advice in urgent circumstances, like locating a lost child.

By giving them simple access to legal information and assistance, the Punjab Government hopes to empower its people and make the legal system more approachable and user-friendly.
