The PTA warned citizens to exercise caution when receiving unsolicited calls, messages, or emails that may attempt to extract private information, adding that the public should not engage with suspicious links or unknown senders.

PTA has issued contact information for reporting the scammers.

  • For investigation: Contact the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) at: 1991
  • For financial frauds: Report to the State Bank of Pakistan at: (021) 111723273

Emphasizing the protection of personal data, the authority urged citizens to report any unusual activity without delay to combat such fraudulent schemes.
