ISLAMABAD: The residents of twin cities Islamabad and Rawalpindi have been enjoying continuous monsoon rains for the last week; however, the heavy rainfall caused severe destruction in some areas of the cities, while the rest of the people enjoyed the beautiful weather.
According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), the Partly cloudy and humid weather is expected over most parts of the country. However, rain-wind/thundershower is expected at isolated places in Upper/Southeastern Sindh, Central/Southern Punjab, Northeastern/Southern Balochistan, Kashmir, and Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

According to the Met Office, Rain-wind/thundershower (with isolated heavy falls) occurred in Islamabad, upper/central Punjab, Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Khuzdar. Hot and humid weather prevailed over other parts of the country.
