ISLAMABAD: The citizens of the federal capital witnessed light sunlight in the morning after which the weather remained pleasant with light chilling winds blowing in the city. However, the temperatures are set to drop below freezing point accompanied by light rainfall during the night causing chilling weather in the federal capital.
The maximum temperature recorded today ranges up to 18 degrees Celsius, whereas the minimum temperature expected in the evening will range up to 09 degrees Celsius.
The humidity level in the federal capital ranges between 40 to 47% with light wind blowing in the northwest direction at the speed of 6 km/h. Whereas, the chance of precipitation is up to 10% today.
According to the Met Office, The weather is likely to remain cold and partly cloudy in most parts of the country. However, light rain/snowfall is likely at a few places in North Balochistan, Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir. Light rain and light snowfall are also likely in Murree, Galliyat, Islamabad and Potohar region. Moderate to heavy fog is expected in most plain areas of Punjab and upper Sindh.
