Karachi weather forecast: Hot, humid weather to continue in port city

KARACHI: Karachi experienced light rain on Friday morning leading to the weather significantly improving in the city. The precipitation has resulted in slippery roads across various areas.

Heat intensity significantly dropped due to early drizzle in areas like  MA Jinnah Road, Saddar, Clifton, Malir, Shahrah-e-Faisal, and nearby neighborhoods.

The minimum temperature recorded today is 27°C, while the temperatures may rise from 27 to 30°C during the night.

Whereas, the humidity level ranges up to 73% in the air, with winds blowing from the west at a speed of 18 kilometers per hour.

The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted hot and humid weather in Karachi for the next 24 hours, with a 4% chance of light rain showers expected in some areas.

However, Chief Meteorologist Sardar Sarfaraz stated that the intensity of monsoon winds had significantly reduced, making rain highly unlikely in Karachi today.
