LAHORE: The citizens of the provincial capital are witnessing cold wave in the provincial capital. The weather is likely to remain pleasant, while there is potential chance of rain followed with gusty winds.
According to the Meteorological Department, the minimum temperature in the city is likely to be 09 degrees Celsius, while the maximum temperature may reach 16 degrees Celsius. The humidity level in the air was recorded above 80%.
According to the Met Office, Rain and snowfall are expected in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir, Murree and Gulyat. Meanwhile, rain with strong winds and thundershowers are expected at a few places in northeastern Punjab and the Potohar region. Moderate to heavy fog is expected in some plain areas of Punjab and upper Sindh during the night.
The weather is expected to be cold and dry in most parts of the country, while it is likely to be extremely cold at night in mountainous areas.
