LAHORE: The citizens of the provincial capital are witnessing a severe heat wave in the provincial capital with dry weather prevailing in the city for the last few weeks.
According to the Meteorological Department (PMD), a westerly wave prevails over the upper parts of Pakistan. Whereas, the minimum temperature in the city is likely to be 30 degrees Celsius, while the maximum temperature may reach 37 degrees Celsius. The humidity level in the air was recorded above 13%.
Today, the residents observed pleasant yet dry weather; however, Monsoon rains are set to lash the city from June 26, i-e, Thursday, which will bring much-needed relief to the residents.
