Lahore weather update: Dense fog to cover provincial capital

LAHORE: The citizens of the provincial capital are witnessing cold wave in the provincial capital. The weather is likely to remain dry, while there is no potential chance of rain.

According to the Meteorological Department, the minimum temperature in the city is likely to be 04 degrees Celsius, while the maximum temperature may reach 19 degrees Celsius. The humidity level in the air was recorded above 60%.

According to the Met Office, The weather is expected to be cold and dry in most parts of the country, while it will be very cold and partly cloudy in the hilly areas. However, light rain/light snowfall is likely at a few places in Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir and adjacent hilly areas. Fog is expected in the plain areas of Punjab, Upper Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The weather is expected to be cold and dry in most parts of the country, while it is likely to be extremely cold at night in mountainous areas.
