ISLAMABAD: The Meteorological Department has predicted cold and dry weather in most parts of the country.
Cold and dry weather is expected in Islamabad, while cold and dry weather is also expected in Murree and Gulyat.
Cold and dry weather is expected in most districts of Punjab, fog is expected in Sialkot, Narowal, Lahore, Sheikhupura and Gujranwala.
Fog is likely in Gujarat, Jhelum, Faisalabad, Sahiwal, Multan, Khanewal, Layyah, Kot Addu, Bahawalpur and surrounding areas, dry and cold weather is expected in most districts of Sindh and Balochistan.
Fog is likely in Peshawar, Swabi, Mardan, Charsadda, Nowshera, Dera Ismail Khan, partly cloudy weather and extremely cold weather is expected in Gilgit-Baltistan.
The northern regions of the country are in the grip of cold, with the temperature in Skardu at minus 5 degrees Celsius, in Gilgit minus 3, and in Astore and Kalat minus 1 degree Celsius.
The temperature in Dir and Chitral was also recorded at minus 1, in Quetta two and in Islamabad three degrees Celsius.
