MUMBAI: Anil Mehta, father of actress and model Malaika Arora, passed away on Wednesday morning. According to reports, he fell from a high-rise building, and police are investigating the circumstances surrounding his death.
No suicide note was found, and the motive behind his actions remains unclear. Malaika, who was close to her father, was not present at the time of the incident.
The police are exploring all possible angles and are in the process of filing an accidental death report.
In the past, Malaika has spoken publicly about her challenging childhood, including her parents’ separation, and how it taught her the importance of self-reliance and independence.
