TEHRAN: Following the martyrdom of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, a special message has been released from his official social media account.
A memorable photo of him was shared from his official account on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), with the caption:
“In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.”
The post also referenced verse 23 of Surah Al-Ahzab, which states:
“Among the believers are those who have fulfilled their covenant with Allah, some of them have fulfilled their covenant and some are waiting, and they have not changed in the slightest.”
It should be noted that Iranian state media has confirmed the martyrdom of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and a 7-day holiday and 40-day mourning have been declared across the country. According to state media, his daughter, son-in-law and grandson were also martyred in the attack.
