Senior Hamas Commander Izz al-Din al-Haddad martyred, Says Israel

TEL AVIV: According to foreign media, Israel carried out an airstrike on a building in the Raml neighborhood of Gaza City.

In this regard, Israeli authorities claim that the attack targeted senior Al-Qassam member Izz al-Din al-Haddad, in which he was killed. Izz al-Din al-Haddad was the last member of the 5-member Supreme Council of the Al-Qassam Brigades. Hamas has not yet made any statement regarding the martyrdom of Izz al-Din al-Haddad.

According to Israeli authorities, Izz al-Din al-Haddad is considered the head of Hamas’s military wing and one of the main planners of the October 7, 2023 attacks, and he was on Israel’s most wanted list.

In addition, a car was also targeted in the attack on the building, in which 4 people were martyred.

On the other hand, the United Nations says that not all bodies have been recovered from the rubble in Gaza destroyed by Israel, and most buildings in Gaza are destroyed or badly damaged.

According to media reports, 132 members of the same family were martyred in a residential apartment.
