Trump sworn in as U.S. President: Promises changes & better days ahead

WASHINGTON: Donald Trump became the 47th President of the United States of America, and was sworn in by Chief Justice John Roberts. US Vice President JD Vance also took the oath of office.

President Donald Trump was given a gun salute after taking the oath. Donald Trump was elected US President for the second time.

Donald Trump’s speech

In his first speech after taking the oath, US President Donald Trump said that America’s golden age has begun, America will not be allowed to be taken advantage of, and American sovereignty will be regained.

We will first ensure America’s policies, ensure the rule of law and the security of the country, our manifesto will be America first, America will soon become a stronger and more successful country than before.

We will ensure the security of the country’s borders at all costs, the unfair use of the US Department of Justice will end, and the scales of justice will be balanced.

I stand with those affected by the fire in Los Angeles. We will solve the challenges facing the world and America. Now America will progress. Progress will be our top priority in my time. The top priority will be to build a nation that is proud, prosperous and free.

He added that previous governments could not solve internal problems. My life is left to make America great again. America’s bad days are over. Change will come soon. Today is a day of freedom for American citizens.

The difficulties I have faced in the past 8 years have not happened to anyone else in American history. The Biden government could not even handle a minor crisis in America. The people of America will gather on a forum, regardless of color or race.

Together we will make America great. We will not ignore our country and the Constitution. We will declare a national emergency on America’s southern border.

We will send back millions of illegal immigrants, declare human smugglers a terrorist organization, President Trump also announced the imposition of a national emergency on the southern border of the United States, and the termination of the “Green New Deal” for the environment.

He said that we will reduce oil and gas prices, end the mandate for electric vehicles, impose tariffs on other countries instead of taxes on American citizens, and collect taxes from other countries to make America rich.

Today, I will sign historic orders, take immediate steps to bring down inflation, end all censorship imposed by the government, stop targeting political opponents, and bring back law and order in American cities.

Together, we will defeat America’s enemies, there are only 2 genders, mile and per mile, we will face challenges together, build the world’s most powerful army like in 2017, and restore the trade system.

The Gulf of Mexico will be renamed the Gulf of America, the Panama Canal will be taken back, the United States invested the most money in building the Panama Canal, protecting our country from threats is our top priority.

Astronauts will plant the American flag on Mars, if we work together, there is no task that cannot be done, there is no destination that cannot be reached, many people thought my historic comeback was impossible.

Hostages in the Middle East are returning to their homes, from today America will be independent, free and courageous, the rule of law and the security of the country will be ensured, the political establishment will end the occupation of America.

Who attended the swearing-in ceremony?

Earlier, the swearing-in ceremonies of the newly elected US President Donald Trump began, President Joe Biden and Kamala Harris also arrived in the hall, former US Presidents Bill Clinton and Barack Obama also attended the ceremony held at Capitol Hill, and Supreme Court judges were also present at the swearing-in ceremony.

Elon Musk, Mark Zuckerberg, Secretary of Defense nominee Pat Hegseth, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, and former US Vice President Dan Quayle also attended the swearing-in ceremony.

President Biden also met with President-elect Donald Trump before the ceremony.
