UAE hikes petrol, diesel prices sharply for April 2026

Budget 2026-27: Climate support levy on Petrol, diesel likely to double

DUBAI: The UAE government has decided to increase the fuel prices by a large margin, which will come into effect from April 1, 2026.

The increase is due to a rise in oil prices in the international market following the ongoing US-Israel War against Iran.

The following are the new fuel prices in the UAE, as the price of Super 98 petrol has been raised to Dh3.39 per liter compared to the previous price of Dh2.59 in March.

The price of Special 95 petrol has been raised to Dh3.28 per liter compared to the previous price of Dh2.48. The price of E-Plus 91 petrol has been raised to Dh3.20 per liter compared to the previous price of Dh2.40.

The price of diesel has been raised to Dh4.69 per liter compared to the previous price of Dh2.72.

The fuel prices have been raised following a sharp increase in oil prices in the international market in March due to ongoing tensions in the region following the ongoing US-Israel War against Iran.

Fuel prices have already been raised in several countries due to the increase in oil prices in the international market.
