LAHORE: The Lahore Board has finalized the date of postponed written and practical examinations, which were postponed due to security reasons amid the Pakistan-India standoff, according to media reports.

The Intermediate paper of Islamic Studies and Principles of Accounting and Matric Computer Science, Biology, and Food and Nutrition practical papers are likely to be held on May 17.

Moreover, the Intermediate Tarjimatul Quran, Ethics, and Social Studies papers are likely to be held on May 24.

Earlier, according to Punjab Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat, all public and private educational institutions in the province will reopen on Monday (tomorrow).

After being temporarily halted because of recent cross-border tensions, academic activities in schools, colleges, and universities have resumed as a result of the decision.

Following Indian drone attacks that targeted regions in Punjab and Azad Jammu and Kashmir, the closures were put into effect on May 7. The provincial education department announced a temporary suspension of classes in all public and private institutions due to the security situation.
