LAHORE: Examinations conducted under education boards of Punjab, including Lahore, have now become more expensive as institutions have increased fees for certificates, copies and data validation.
The fee for attestation of certificates or photocopies for use abroad is now Rs. 6,000. The fee for obtaining certificates before the stipulated time has increased from Rs. 1,000 to Rs. 6,000
Since 2010-12, the late fee for result cards has increased from Rs. 700 to Rs. 1,000, while the cost of duplicate result cards is now Rs. 5,000.
Other fee changes include:
- Rs. 2,000 for registration or result card cancellation, reappearing in practical exams, and migration cancellation.
- Rs. 1,500 for corrections in name, parentage, birth date, age, or address.
- Rs. 4,000 for migration and NOC certificates.
- Rs. 5,000 for corrections in intermediate result cards within two years.
- Rs. 6,000 for corrections in result cards issued two to five years ago.
- Rs. 10,000 for correcting certificates over a decade old.
The late admission form penalty has been increased from Rs. 100 to Rs. 600 per day, while the fee for book accession has been increased from Rs. 1,200 to Rs. 3,000. These changes were approved in the 522nd meeting of the board.
