Schools will remain closed again in Islamabad for tomorrow due to PTI protests

Punjab govt denies early summer vacations rumors

ISLAMABAD: The Private School Association has announced that education institutions in Islamabad and Rawalpindi will remain closed again tomorrow (Tuesday) due to ongoing PTI protest.

Secretary General of the association, Abdul Waheed stated that private schools in the capital will stay closed as a precautionary measure, citing concerns over the safety of students amid the current situation.

Today, schools in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, and Murree remain closed due to the recent political unrest causing significant disruption to students’ education. Parents have called for a permanent solution to address the recurring closures.

In light of the prevailing situation, the decision applies to all educational institutions in the federal capital and Rawalpindi.

The International Islamic University, Islamabad, confirmed its closure through an official notification. Similarly, Murree’s Deputy Commissioner announced the closure of all educational institutions in the district on Monday due to the unrest.

In Bahawalpur, Islamia University postponed exams scheduled for today and tomorrow, rescheduling them for December 2 and 3. However, regular classes will continue as planned, according to the university’s spokesperson.
