KARACHI: The Sindh Education Department has issued revised guidelines for all private schools within the province concerning the payment of tuition fees for the year 2026-27.
According to Additional Director Registration Rafia Javed, “the academic year has commenced on April 1, 2026.” She further added that for matriculation students, only tuition fees up to March 2026 can be charged.
Matriculation examinations in the province began on April 10, 2026. Rafia Javed mentioned that no extra charges can be imposed on those students who appear in the exam in April. A fee structure has been prepared for students moving from Class 9 to 10.
Moreover, she clarified that the fees for June and July can be collected in April and May 2026. All students, ranging from pre-primary to Class 9, fall under the revised fee structure.
Schools have been asked to prepare a monthly fee voucher for all students. The fee voucher for June shall be valid till June 30, while the July fee voucher will be valid till July 31, 2026.
