PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Health Department initiated a fresh hiring process to cover the province-wide deficiency of physicians.
As the first phase, 166 health workers will be hired on a contract basis, of which 115 will be medical officers and 51 will be specialist consultants, to beefup services in District Headquarters Hospitals (DHQs).
This hiringcampaign aims to enhance the availability of public healthcare, especially in rural and backward regions.
