AIOU starts dispatching books to 60k students

ISLAMABAD: Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) has begun dispatching books to 60,000 students who are enrolled in the matriculation program for the Semester of Spring 2024, state-run APP reported.

By the end of this week, books will be sent to students enrolled in the matric program, according to the Director of Admissions AIOU.

Furthermore, the procedure of sending books to 80,000 FA students will start the next week. Vice Chancellor of AIOU Prof. Dr. Nasir Mahmood has strongly directed all departments to adhere to the academic calendar to guarantee that all assignments are finished within the allotted time and to prevent any complaints from students.

For the first time in the university’s history, book distribution to students has started in conjunction with semester admissions.

According to the details, the University has also introduced a “Computerized Tracking System” for information regarding delivery of books. The students can easily enter their roll number or admission fee challan number and track all the delivery steps of books at the AIOU website.

In case of non-receipt or delay of the textbooks, the students are instructed to approach the nearest post office.
