Washington: US President Donald Trump has said the Trump Iran uranium issue will be fully handled following a temporary ceasefire with Iran. He made these remarks after a two-week truce agreement between the two sides, calling it a clear success for the United States.
According to international media reports, Trump described the ceasefire as a complete victory. He said the agreement ensures that Iran’s enriched uranium stockpile will be managed effectively.
Trump added that he would not have agreed to the deal if the uranium matter was not properly addressed. He stressed that the situation is under control and will be resolved in a structured way.
Earlier, when asked about the uranium reserves, Trump said he was not overly concerned. He explained that such stockpiles can be monitored through satellite technology.
On the other side, Iran’s Supreme Council has confirmed its agreement to the two-week temporary ceasefire. The council also announced that further negotiations will take place on April 10 in Islamabad.
Officials say the upcoming talks are expected to focus on key issues, including nuclear monitoring and future cooperation.
