QUETTA: The Balochistan government has announced 65-day winter vacations for educational institutions in cold areas of the province, starting from December 16, 2024.
A notification issued by the Education Department of Balochistan stated that educational institutions located in cold areas would remain closed from December 16 to February 28, 2025, reopening on March 1, 2025.
Meanwhile, winter vacations will be observed from January 1, 2025, to January 10, 2025, in warm areas of the province.
Earlier, the Punjab Education Department announced winter vacations for public and private schools across the province for 20 days, starting from December 20, 2024, till January 10, 2025.
Students and staff will resume regular academic activities after the winter break.
All the educational institutions in Punjab were reopened on November 20 after the smog holidays as the smog condition improved. This decision was taken after the improvement in the air quality in Punjab.
