LAHORE: A 10-year-old girl was found dead in the washroom of a tuition center in Ichhra area of Lahore. The girl had gone to a tuition center set up in a house with two sisters to take tuition.
Three young sisters went to a house in Ichhra area of Lahore to take tuition. 10-year-old Naeema went to the washroom but did not return even after a long time. When the elder sister went and saw Naeema lying half dead, people gathered after the sister made a noise. The girl was shifted to the hospital where doctors confirmed her death.
According to the police, two sisters have opened a tuition center in a house in Ichhra Colony. 15 to 20 girls from the neighborhood take tuition. According to the residents, their girls have been studying for a long time and there has never been any problem.
The deceased girl’s father, Adnan, is a rickshaw driver who says he does not know how the girl died, may Allah Almighty do justice.
Police say that after the postmortem, the body of the student has been handed over to the heirs. According to the initial postmortem report, there is a clear mark of a noose on the student’s neck. The student died due to hanging. No signs of violence or force were found on the body.
According to the police, the washroom door was not locked. Other evidence from the scene, including fingerprints, have been sent to the forensic lab. The landlord has been taken into custody and further investigation has been started.
