ISLAMABAD: The District and Sessions Court has extended the interim bail of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran khan and his wife, Bushra Bibi.
Additional District and Sessions Judge Muhammad Afzal Majuka, while hearing the cases, upheld the bail of the PTI founder in 6 cases and Bushra Bibi in one case until October 7.
The court extended the order preventing the PTI founder from being arrested in the May 9 incidents, attempted murder, and protest cases, while Bushra Bibi’s interim bail was also extended on the charge of fake receipts in the Toshakhana case.
During the hearing, a decision could not be given on the bail applications of Bushra Bibi, even today, while the arguments could not be completed on the applications of the PTI founder.
The court remarked that a joint decision would be given on the bail applications of the PTI founder and Bushra Bibi.
Advocate Khalid Yousuf Chaudhry appeared on behalf of the PTI founder during the hearing. Cases have been registered against them in Tarnol, Karachi Company, Kohsar, and other police stations.
