PASRUR: A tragic property dispute led to the deaths of at least five people in the Sabzpir police station area of Pasrur. The incident occurred due to a long-standing property conflict, resulting in the deaths of five individuals, including a couple, their two children, and a woman who was an innocent bystander.
The suspect responsible for the shooting has fled the scene, and the police are actively investigating and searching for the perpetrator.
In a separate incident, a violent clash over a land dispute in Sukkur’s Bagarji police station area, five people were killed. The confrontation, rooted in a prolonged land conflict, involved an exchange of gunfire between rival groups.
Moreover, four individuals from one group were killed on the spot, including three from the same family, while another injured person died during treatment. One person from the opposing group was also killed.
This incident follows a previous altercation between the same groups that had already resulted in three deaths.
Additionally, in Lower Orakzai Tehsil of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, five people were killed in a tribal clash over land.
District Police Officer Nazeer Khan reported that armed members of rival tribes engaged in a gunfight on Sunday, resulting in five deaths and several injuries.
A heavy police contingent has been deployed to manage the situation, and the deceased have been taken to the District Headquarters Hospital for medico-legal procedures.
