PESHAWAR: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has said that the recent increase in petroleum products has shaken everyone, and they will hold a protest next Friday.
Addressing a press conference in Peshawar, Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that the JUI Central Majlis-e-Shura held a two-day meeting in which the domestic and international situation was considered.

Fazlur Rehman said that our position is that the PML-N government is fake, standing with the support of the People’s Party, we have the right to raise the flag of rebellion against such a government.
He also announced that his party will stage a major gathering in Mardan from April 12, signaling a stronger stance against the government.
Addressing the situation, he called for an in-camera session of Parliament, urging authorities to take political leadership into confidence over the evolving global scenario.
He stressed that lawmakers should be informed about Pakistan’s position, particularly in light of developments involving both western and eastern borders.
Maulana Fazlur Rehman also commented on the international situation, alleging that the United States is backing Israel and accused it of involvement in actions against Palestine, Iran, and other Muslim countries.
He reiterated the need for unity and transparency in policymaking, particularly at a time of heightened regional tensions.
