LAHORE: Former Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif departed for London on Monday, according to media reports.
According to family sources, the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) president and former prime minister today reached Allama Iqbal International Airport from Jati Umra Raiwind, from where he left for London via a foreign airline Qatar Airways flight.
Earlier, all preparations for Nawaz Sharif’s departure were completed in Jati Umra, Raiwind.
According to sources, Nawaz Sharif’s stay in London is likely to be about 2 weeks long. Nawaz Sharif will also undergo his routine medical check-up in London.
It may be recalled that Nawaz Sharif had also undergone a check-up at the Punjab Institute of Neurosciences a few days ago, where an MRI of his neck was also done. Nawaz Sharif had complained of muscle pain.
Nawaz Sharif had gone to London in June this year.
