Government simplifies complaint process for BISP beneficiaries

ISLAMABAD: The Government of Pakistan has announced to further simplify the process of registering complaints and providing guidance for eligible women under the Benazir Income Support Program (BISP).

According to the program administration, women can approach it through the regular procedure in case of any kind of complaint, delay in payment or other issues.

The announcement has been made that if any woman faces difficulty in receiving money from the Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) or complains about illegal deduction by any official, she should immediately inform the concerned authorities. No fee or deduction of any kind is allowed under the program and the beneficiaries are provided with the full amount.

BISP Helpline and Office Support for complaint

According to the authorities, women can go to the nearest BISP Tehsil Office and register their complaint. Apart from this, the national helpline number 0800-26477 can also be contacted, where complaints are registered and guidance is provided. It will be necessary to provide valid identity card information to register complaints.

The Benazir Income Support Program administration has clarified that no money or documents should be provided to any unauthorized person or agent. Beneficiaries have been appealed to keep their personal information safe and report any fraud immediately.
