ISLAMABAD: Imran Khan, the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), and his wife Bushra Bibi have been charged in the Toshakhana case.
The former prime minister and first lady have been indicted by the Accountability Court, which is hearing the case at Adiala Jail. Earlier on Monday, the court had to postpone the charges due to Bushra Bibi’s absence, rescheduling them for today. The court stated that if Bushra Bibi had not appeared today, arrest warrants could have been issued for her.

Imran and his sisters attended the hearing, and both his and his wife’s counsel were present. Representatives from the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) were also present. During the hearing, Imran Khan received copies of the Al-Qadir Trust case.
In the Al-Qadir Trust case, the NAB has nominated several people, including Imran Khan, his wife, and others. Notably, six of the accused have been declared absconders, including Malik Riaz and Shehzad Akbar.
