LONDON: Former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s son Qasim Khan has revealed in an interview that his father has been kept in solitary confinement and has not been given access to medical facilities.
Qasim Khan said that his father Imran Khan has been kept in prison for almost two years, where there was not even light in his cell many times.
Qasim further said that he has not been allowed to contact the outside world, nor has he been given access to doctors. Expressing concern over the situation, he said that the court had ordered to allow contact every week, but in reality, he is only able to talk to his father once every two to three months.
In the interview, Qasim Khan also said that his father has been kept in solitary confinement for a long time, which may have had a negative impact on his health. He said that if he had had the opportunity to talk every week, the situation would have improved, but the current situation is very worrying.
After this interview, PTI leaders and supporters have demanded an international voice for Imran Khan’s release and protection of his health. These revelations have come at a time when rumors are also circulating about Imran Khan’s health and his imprisonment.
