Digital driving license card fee in Islamabad for November 2024

Digital driving license card fee in Islamabad for November 2024

ISLAMABAD: Before driving a car or any other vehicle, all Pakistani citizens, including those residing in Islamabad and of legal age, must obtain a valid license from the appropriate authority. Failure to do so may result in fines or legal action.

To obtain a driver’s license, applicants must pass both theoretical and practical exams. The government is also given a fixed amount of money to issue a driving license.

The digital driving license in Islamabad, which consists of 12 contemporary security measures, was recently introduced by the Islamabad Traffic Police. These security measures prevent it from being tampered with or forged.

To help reduce traffic violations, the traffic police plan to soon link this digital driving license with Safe City, NADRA and Excise.

In the capital, those who currently have a valid driver’s license can apply for a digital card by paying a certain price.
